Checking the Retreever’s operation

Check within 24 hours in the MiApp whether the location of your Retreever is correct on the map.

Step 1

Download MiApp

  • Download our Moving Intelligence App to view the latest position.
  • Log in using the provided email address and password.
  • Go to LIVE in the menu, and the latest position of your Mi04 will be immediately visible on the map.
  • Under HISTORY, you can view positions over a longer period.
  • You can change the polling interval to once every 24, 12, 8, 4, or 1 hour under MANAGE SYSTEMS.

Note: The interval you have selected affects the battery life.

Step 2

Placing Retreever

The more carefully you hide the Retreever, the greater the chance your object will be recovered. When installing, take the following into account:

  • For the best GPS/GSM reception, hide the Retreever horizontally and not directly under metal or steel.
  • Conceal the Retreever from thieves in an unpredictable location within your object.
  • We recommend hiding the Retreever in a location that cannot be accessed without tools.
  • Check the exact location at the next polling in the MiApp (visible 24 hours after placement) and ensure the object is outdoors.
