Easy to install

The tracking device is very easy and quick to activate yourself. Follow the steps below to activate your tracking device and create an online account.

Step 1

Mi01 activation

  • Hold the device in your hand with the three arrows pointing upwards.
  • Tilt the device ten times with the arrows pointing downwards and then back up.
  • The device will now begin charging its power caps; a red LED on the circuit board will blink as confirmation.
  • Wait approximately 15 minutes to allow the power caps to fully charge and for the Tracking Device to connect to our server.
  • Once the power caps are fully charged and the Mi01 has successfully connected to our server, the red LED will stop blinking.



Is the light not blinking? Try tilting the device again.

Step 2

Creating an account

  • Go to app.movingintelligence.com
  • Click on REGISTER and sign up
  • Click the "complete registration" link in the email
  • Log in to the Moving Intelligence platform - app.movingintelligence.com
  • Enter the activation code found on the insert in your tracking device packaging or received via email.
  • Follow the subsequent steps
  • Complete the order fully
  • Your Tracking Device is now activated



Already have an account? Then there’s no need to create a new one. Log in with your existing account, go to MANAGE – OBJECTS, and click ADD OBJECT at the bottom. Enter the activation code and follow the subsequent steps.

Step 3

Download app

Download the MiApp and log in with your account. This way, you always have access to the latest locations of your tracking device anytime, anywhere.

What to do in case of a malfunction or theft?

Error, malfunction, or questions?
If the tracking device has not functioned properly for 7 days, you will automatically receive an email notification.

What to do if your vehicle is stolen?
Call our 24/7 emergency centre immediately at +31 88 99 000 88. Please have the following information ready:

  • Description of the stolen vehicle (license plate and/or registration number)
  • Your insurer and insurance details
  • Location and (estimated) time of the theft
  • Your personal password



Important: You must file a report with the police yourself.
